Crafted from ABS plastic, Door / Window Sensor 6 has been designed to be easily painted. So whether your door is white or wood, or even if your window is dark aluminium or something more traditional, Door / Window Sensor 6 can be painted to blend in.

Whenever a door or window is opened, you want to know and this tiny sensor will detect it faultlessly. Door / Window Sensor 6 is built with 2 powerful magnetic reed switches placed along its edge. They’ll communicate with a provided slim-line magnet that measures only 2mm wide and can be placed up to 2.2cm away.

You want intelligence from a sensor... but having to change batteries every few months is not very smart. Built from technology designed for leading smartphones, Door / Window Sensor 6’s battery lasts for over 1 year on windows and 10 months on frequently used doors. When required, simply remove the sensor from its mounting plate and recharge it over a few hours via USB.
Door / Window Sensor 6’s perfect mix of slim design and strong battery performance is possible because it’s powered by 500mAH batteries and Aeon Labs’ Gen5 Z-Wave Plus technology. That means strong battery performance is coupled with wireless technology that uses 67% less power to communicate.

Value Quality Performance Great little items
Review by David Rawsthorneon 19/09/2018Rechargeable, easily removed during recharging, and what appears to be long battery life (and remote battery monitoring). I plan on covering them with a woodgrain wrap to make them less obvious on my external doors, so I'll report back of they have issues, but I dont think they will.
Very easy to set up, they are reliable, and they dont look bad in their natural white color -
