Value Quality Performance Almost perfect, but let down in a few areas
Review by David Rawsthorneon 19/09/2018A great robust product is let down by its slightly quirky setup, and limited support for items. I ditched the direct control of items via Alexa, and went with Home Assistant to manage the control of various items due to the incomplete control of zigbee, hue and even some zwave devices from this Vera Plus item. I chose it because of the zigbee support, and it's next to useless unless you want to spend quite a few extra dollars on specific items.
As for the control, once you set it up, it's rock solid and fast. The quality is there, it's just let down by poor support of items. -

So, really check if you need the few working extra features of VeraPlus (different protocols), because as WIFI/NETWORK device is not yet working well, you'll still need your router and in many cases you can save a lot of money buying simply vera Edge. -
Value Quality Performance Great product, however ?

However I have Google Home Assistant which buy the description can be used with this, but only is you spend another 200 dollars buying a bridge or you have to muck around with all sorts of complicated software and apps to try and do this. I could swap to Alexa which is compatible but then my Chromecast devices are no good, anyway you can see the problem here. -
