Chuango Sensors

Wireless flood sensors are used to detect the presence of water such as flooding. They are a good idea to have in areas of the home or workplace where flooding might occur as a result of taps accidently being left on. This could be useful in a laundry or bathroom location.

Wireless glass break sensors are used to detect when a window is smashed. They cover an area of up to 6x6 metres so they can protect a number of windows.

Wireless roller or tilt door sensors are used to detect when a door is opened. These are called Reed switches. They consist of the Reed switch sensor and a magnet. The Reed switch is secured to the floor and the magnet is fitted to the door. When they are separated the sensor sends a signal to the alarm control panel. If the alarm system is armed it will be triggered.

The Reed switch is placed on either the frame of the door/window and the magnet on the opening part of the door/window. When they are separated the sensor sends a signal to the alarm control panel, if the alarm system is armed it will be triggered.
