The Remotec Z-Wave to Aircon IR Controller works with any Z-Wave compliant gateway or controller by translating Z-Wave commands to AC IR (infra-red) remote control code.
You can select your air-conditioner's IR (infra-red) code from the huge built‐in code library of compatible A/C units, or use the learning function for guaranteed compatibility.

Value Quality Performance Decent
Review by Nathanon 12/01/2018This device works as described the only issue I have found is the temperature sensor is not very accurate which makes it a hit and miss affair when trying to use it to trigger a cooling event. Other than that it does the ir side of things very well and integrates well with the vera gateway and with home assistant using an aeotec z-wave stick. -
Value Quality Performance Good to access when not home
Review by Rowanon 1/11/2016Bought this before the really hot weather sets in, so I could test it out. Everyone at home tends to forget to turn off cooling when they leave the house, so will be good to be able to access it when at work. Easily added to my Vera and Fujitsu split-sytem.
