Eve requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.2 or later. We recommend an Apple TV with tvOS 10 or later for automation and remote access. Automation requires a home hub (fourth-generation Apple TV with tvOS 10 or later, or iPad with iOS 10 or later).
Remote access requires a third-generation Apple TV with Apple TV software 7.2.1 or later, a fourth-generation Apple TV with tvOS 9.2 or later, or an iPad with iOS 10 or later at home.

Review by Judicious Useron 30/01/2019Found this product easy to setup and very helpful. Let's me setup aircon before I arrive. Homekit does requires using the app to collect historical data in a timely manner. I have had no problems with battery life, it provides plenty of warning. -

Review by Johnon 11/07/2017Disappointed - worked fine until the batteries died. Had to delete from network and reset. No advanced warning that batteries are getting low or flat. Waste of time.
