Value Quality Performance Great item, well worth it
Review by David Rawsthorneon 19/09/2018The nano dimmer is brilliant for upgrading existing lighting to be dimmable (as long as the globes support dimming), but be aware that it is only good for 1.5A, and not designed for most fans we have here in Australia that have the 3 speed switch on the wall. If you are running loads of 40+ watts then you dont even need to run a neutral down to the device, but you may find that at low dimming levels, you get a little flickering of the lights. This can be minimised by using a neutral to the dimmer, or alternatively using a nano dimmer bypass.
I bought 2 of these and will likely be getting more for lighting as I upgrade the lights in the various rooms of the house -

Value Quality Performance Does the job as fan controller but noisy
Review by Danon 5/02/2018This product worked as advertised on a celling fan. However it found on lower levels it introduces a hum in the motor that I simply couldn't get rid of. The hum disappears at high speed. I have used a different product in tandem with the original fan controller I now have full control with a whisper quiet motor at all speeds.
